WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOGA: Each yoga session will start with basic breathing techniques to open the ribcage (and surrounding areas) and activation of the core followed by fluid movement and isolation of specific areas of the body to build mobility, stability, and tone. Yoga forces you to slow down, pay attention to your form and connect your mind and body like no other allowing athletes to develop more body awareness and proprioception. Through the development of body awareness, you can avoid injury, strengthen smaller muscles that provide stability and the ability to breath more effectively to both open and activate the core.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING: Strength and Conditioning for athletic performance is so much more than maximizing power. During the 60 min total body sessions athletes should expect to train hard, but effective! Using weights, body weight and TRX’s athletes will learn proper movement mechanics, strengthen key stabilizing muscles, increase joint mobility, perfect coordination, and discover the importance of the mind-body connection all while building strength and endurance. Creating a strong foundation of strength and conditioning enhances an athlete’s future performance and decreases the chances of injury. This is open to anyone in any sport!

- Yoga/Workout Mat
- Water Bottle
- Optional: 3-6 pound dumbbells, resistant bands, block (we offer these props for use in studio. If you prefer not to use the community props you can bring your own)
