YOGA SCULPT TEACHER TRAINING

SOLO Sculpt Teacher Training is for current 200HR Yoga Instructors and/or non-200HR Yoga Instructors looking to take their practice to the next level and learn the skillset needed to teach a FUN, high intensity full body workout that benefits your body and mind! We offer two different learning routes: TRACK 1 and TRACK 2. TRACK 1 is recommend for existing 200HR Yoga Instructors who feel like they have a strong grasp on the building blocks of sequencing and teaching methodology. TRACK 2 is for non-200HR Yoga Instructors and/or current instructors that feel like they need more understanding or refresher on sequencing and teaching methodology.

TRACK 1 SCULPT CERTIFICATION
TRACK 1 SOLO Sculpt Yoga certification is designed for existing 200HR Registered Yoga Instructors looking to gain the skillset to teach Sculpt Yoga. The training format combines in-person, online and 1:1 learning that will focus on the following learning objectives,
- Build blocks to sequencing a high intensity, fun and effective Sculpt Yoga Class
- How to guide participants verbally and through demonstration in a Sculpt Class
- The “why” behind the benefits of incorporating weights, resistance bands and additional props to yoga
- Strength training terminology and exercises
- How to make adaptations that work for a wide range of experience and ability levels
- Similarities and differences when teaching and sequencing a Yoga Flow and Sculpt class
TRACK 2 SCULPT CERTIFICATION, ANATOMY 101 AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Track 2 SOLO Sculpt Certification is designed for individuals without their 200HR yoga certification and/or existing 200HR RYT’s looking for additional understanding of sequencing and teaching methodology. The training format combines the same in-person, online and 1:1 learning as TRACK 1 (learning objectives below) PLUS 10 additional hours of Teaching Methodology and Anatomy 101.

- How to guide participants verbally and through demonstration in a Sculpt Class
- The “why” behind the benefits of incorporating weights, resistance bands and additional props to yoga
- Strength training terminology and exercises

ADDITIONAL LEARNING OBJECTIVES INCLUDED IN TRACK 2:
- Anatomy For Yoga/Group Fitness Instructors (Core/Pelvis/Spine Lab, Hip/Knee Lab, Shoulder Lab)
- Teaching Methodology (Sequence Building Blocks, Language, How to Create Inclusivity, Playlist 101, Trauma Informed Approach)

TRAINING STRUCTURE & REQUIREMENTS
This training involves the combination of REQUIRED in-person, online and 1:1 learning. Depending on the TRACK that you choose to complete your Sculpt Certification you will have the following required learning hours in order to complete the training,
TRACK 1
- 11 hours of in-person group learning
- 12 hours of Sculpt practice and homework (attend 5 Sculpt classes, online learning and Sculpt sequence building)
- 1 hour personal 1:1 meeting with lead trainer to ensure understanding and individualized learning
- 1 hour lead a Community Sculpt Class
TOTAL HOURS: 25 (count as continuing ED credits through The Yoga Alliance)
TRACK 2
- 11 hours of in-person group learning
- 12 hours of Sculpt practice and homework (attend 5 Sculpt classes, online learning and Sculpt sequence building)
- 1 hour personal 1:1 meeting with lead trainer to ensure understanding and individualized learning
- 5 hours of Anatomy 101
- 5 hours of Teaching Methodology
- 1 hour lead Community Sculpt Class
TOTAL HOURS: 35 (count as continuing ED credits through The Yoga Alliance for existing 200HR Yoga Instructors)

FEES INCLUDE ALL YOGA INSTRUCTION, LEARNING MATERIALS AND 1 MONTH OF UNLIMITED YOGA AND BOXING AT SOLO.

KATIE FRANCIS

RYT-200 & SCULPT
Katie began practicing yoga for the physical aspect but quickly fell in love with the spiritual and emotional benefits. She completed Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training in addition to Restorative, Yoga Calm and her 200HR RYT. Her professional career as a high school counselor crossed paths with yoga and has allowed Katie to bring yoga and mindfulness into the education setting.
EDIE BRENNAN

OWNER | E-RYT-200 | YACEP
Edie is a 200HR E-RYT vinyasa-based yoga instructor with an extensive background in teaching yoga in a trauma-informed and mental health-conscious way through her experience teaching at a national level eating disorder treatment center. She strives to facilitate a safe, comfortable and welcoming learning environment, where people can better understand themselves and their bodies innate wisdom.
